I am and it sounds like fun. How do the Bug Eye Sprites compare to the AC Ace in size? Do you have the width to get IRS in it with a Tesla motor this size?

Great idea! I picture an "Exclusive Edition - Ageing Wheels/Under Dunn" front plate with a laser etched Faux Frame. For the first maybe 10 Patrons? (Or until the scrapped aluminum runs out.)

I have three unrestored Austin Healey Bugeye Sprites. An early '58, a mid-year '59 and a late year '60. The 58 was a road car my dad intended to restore before he died, but it sat in the garage for almost 40 years, needs major restoration. One was a a race car in the early 80s that he restored and raced in the SCCA a few times before breaking his hip and moving to flagging, timing/scoring and administration roles, needs major restoration. One I acquired this January as a completed tub that just needs to be bolted back together. Imagine one of these motors driving one of those cars? I'm guessing it would be absolutely insane, and there's loads of room in the boot and under the bonnet for battery packs. And a clear battery pack would be cool with a flip-front bonnet.

I wanted to rebuild my BMW E36 320i with EV but I'm having difficulty looking for parts like EV Motor and Batteries in my country. The Philippines is pretty much a decade behind in adopting EVs into the market.

I'd love to see you make "license plates" for your cars out of the spare aluminum. Laser etch your logo onto it, or vinyl it.

The main thing giving me confidence in these plates is the fact that I hammered on them to get them out of the forms. The clamping bolts (naturally) got epoxied in place. The get them out, I wailed on them with a hammer. Viciously attacking them gives me confidence in their abilities. Given more time, I would've make one just to break to see how much it would take

What I'm thinking right now (very much subject to change) is that I'll use Tesla modules in the bus. One Tesla pack isn't powerful enough, but two are! I could get three Model 3 packs for what I paid for the modules in the Escape, and that would be over 220kwh worth of storage. Having loads of room and weight carrying ability really opens up the possibilities for batteries.

Good god, that's a seriously impressive battery box. They look great all hooked up. Considering this is (obstensibly?) a test run for doing the bus, do you have any concept of whether the bus ones will have a similar setup?

So few channels have ad breaks this good. I never skip them! Do be careful about having your Factor meals in with the turkeys. I would hate/love to see the mutant turkey love children produced when some lonely turkey sees the curvy factor package.
