2022-11-24 02:13:19 +0000 UTCMuriatic acid is a great option for removing all the zinc coating from washers, bolts, etc. It works pretty quickly, too! Helps when you commonly grind off a bit of zinc to be safe, weld it to something, and then realize you need to weld more in an area where you didn't strip the zinc.
