I was slightly surprised to see the Lux Cut priced higher than the Shelix when I went to look. I shall have to investigate in more depth. Presumably they share much the same geometry as well; the argument I've heard (from unqualified bods on the internet) in favor of the Shelix (as opposed to the cheaper imports) seemed to mostly have to do with the very special compound angle on the blades giving a nice shearing cut, but the Lux Cut looks to have the same helical goodness.

2020-12-02 17:53:06 +0000 UTCThat's exactly what's happening. I need to add an extra arm to the piping and connect the router table and radial arm saw. Then the video will be done. I finished the piping and basics over a month ago, but I keep getting pulled away by other projects

I'm guessing you are going through and doing all the periphery tool upgrades and the like before that video (re Miter saw, this, etc.), but it never hurts to ask, and the system looks pretty far along.

2020-12-02 17:03:35 +0000 UTCI just wanted to try out the other option. It also felt a little bit like I was supporting the smaller business. The Lux Cut has better rust proofing and an improved indexing design over the shelix, but otherwise they're both excellent options
