Smoked In The Wild
Added 2024-09-24 02:15:01 +0000 UTCI’ve probably said it numerous times at this point, but it’s great to have Smoked released. I can’t overstate how much I appreciate the patience of readers, because the story ultimately grew well beyond anything I initially imagined. That said, I’m happy with how it turned out (and hopefully readers are as well).
Also, as some of you already know, I had a bit of a rough time getting the paperback and hardcover versions of the book published. (Basically, the thickness of the book gave Amazon heartburn in a couple of areas.) Fortunately, I was able to get those issues resolved without jumping through a lot of hoops.
With Smoked out in the wild now, my North Star in terms of the Kid Sensation universe is once again KS#10 (working title: Expiation), and I’m happy to turn my attention back to it. As always, I’m hesitant to estimate a completion date (especially given how Smoked ballooned on me), but I will try to get it done as soon as possible.
