Update On Smoked, et al.
Added 2024-05-25 00:30:01 +0000 UTCSince I’ve got a couple of irons in the fire, I thought it appropriate to give an update. Starting first with Smoked, I have to confess that I didn’t finish my final read-through.
Basically, I had a couple of things happen on the home front that slowed my publishing efforts down, including losing internet access for almost a week. That may not sound debilitating, but I tend to do a fair amount of research when I’m writing. Ergo, when I touch on things like brain plasticity, video metadata, photogrammetry, and so on, it’s usually the result of spending quite a bit of time online. The good news, however, is that Smoked is definitely in the any-day-now zone of completion.
With respect to Kid Sensation #10 (working title: Expiation), things are still chugging along. The plan is to get it done this summer, and at the moment that still looks doable. Beyond that, Warden #5 is looking like the lead horse, although I’ve had a few ideas popping into my head lately about Kid Sensation #11 (working title: Generation). Needless to say, I’ve got no projected release date for those other than “as soon as possible” (although, as usual, I’m aiming for sooner as opposed to later).
