Other Superheroes In The Kid Sensation Universe
Added 2022-08-22 04:58:03 +0000 UTCSomeone recently asked me if there were any Muslim superheroes in the Kid Sensation universe. My response was that the KS universe has superheroes of every race, religion and creed. (Supervillains, too, I should add.) Most, however, are still waiting to make their debut. I think I've mentioned it in another post, but there are even other supers in the Alpha League that haven't gotten any air time yet.
Basically, there are some heroes and villains that I've developed backstories for but simply haven't had a chance to introduce. Others get mentioned and then make an appearance later. Take Luna, for instance. She's a character who was first mentioned in Replication and then was formally introduced in Isolation. Likewise with Gloriana Mano; I already had her backstory worked out when she was first mentioned in Infiltration, but readers didn't see her in action until Conjuration.
In short, the Kid Sensation universe is populated with all kinds of superheroes and supervillains. The problem, of course, is that there just isn't time to write about them all. I'd need a Marvel or DC comics type of team in order to write stories for each of them (or even just introduce them). Since that's unlikely to happen, I'll have to continue cherry-picking in terms of which characters to showcase in print, and hopefully readers will be happy with my selections.
And speaking of superheroes in print, I'm hoping to have the Smokescreen novel - Smoked - finished shortly, but I've been under the weather lately. Thankfully, I'm on the mend and should be able to wrap it up in short order.
