2026-01-13 22:09:26 +0000 UTCEpisode 11 is heartbreaking as it goes on to see how long the Doctor went through this never really even knowing its just a cycle till the very end of each cycle. But the knowledge doesn't carry over cause its starting over. Episode 12....I was so happy to see Clara again! Her being on Gallifrey was amazing, she knew something was wrong with The Doctor and she went off on the other person calling them monsters. I don't blame her. 4.5 billion years stuck....it's heartbreaking. I am happy knowing while she is gone, she's still out there adventuring! Ashildr/Me finally gets her wish to travel in the tardis! I do really wonder what those two got up to and how long before Clara finally went back to Gallifrey to face her fate. I do also agree there will be no other like Clara, aside from the hate she did get, I loved her. She's the reason I even started to watch this show. She will be my #1 companion ever. Though I am excited for you to meet the next companion, curious on what you will think.

2026-01-07 02:04:39 +0000 UTCMVP definitely belonged to both of them. 12/Clara may be my favourite pair of characters ever. The S9 finale is absolutely brilliant. Heaven Sent was deservedly voted the best story in the show's history in the lead up to the 60th anniversary. Everyone was on fire for that episode: Moffat's script, Talalay's directing, Gold's music, the cinematography, everything! But most especially Capaldi's performance. He ripped my heart to shreds and still managed to end with a feeling of triumph. Amazing. Hell Bent is a bit more divisive in the fandom, but I might like it even more than Heaven Sent. Face the Raven was a beautiful send-off for Clara, but Hell Bent ties off their story beautifully. I'm so glad Clara got to keep her agency and hold on to her memories of the Doctor. The next episode is pretty special too. There are 2 Christmas Specials (2015 then 2016) before you get to S10, but they aren't linked stories. The only episode of Doctor Who in 2016 was the Christmas Special.
