What got you into this kink?

Body swapping, possession, shapeshifting any of it. What was it that kicked you off onto this journey?

Also what are some of your favorites pieces of media on the subject? Be it movies/shows, stories, artwork. Basically things that aren't caps ;)

I might be a little old school, but for me it was the original Power Rangers, where Billy (blue ranger) and Kimberly (pink ranger) swap bodies.

I think it was a bit of GI Joe with Baroness, Scooby Doo, which some how lead me to Closetmonster and well now the rest is history I suppose.

I think it was 5 years ago. That was the time I started to get really into this kink.

So are you a more recent fan? The Nami Sanja swap is pretty new i thought. within the past few years?

i had a feeling that would be a big one for the younger crowd. I was in college by that point and saw the movie in theaters. that swap was such a total surprise and i loved it.

The Scooby Doo 2002 movie was 100% the catalyst for me lol. The whole plot revolves around possession/body swapping and other TG things.

The catalyst for me was the episode in One Piece where Nami and Sanji swapped bodies/hearts, when Trafalgar Law used his room ability to swap the minds, bodies, and hearts of many characters in that arc. I believe the episode was 586. For me, I enjoyed the Stardust transformation scenes. Totally Spies was a big influencer for me. Also I enjoyed Dr. Jekyll and Hyde transformations.

I JUSt found through random YouTube video watching and fell in love. For me my favorite caption type is swap class cause I think it is a very awesome idea for a forced swap situation.

oh i totally get that. i had a bunch of things that probably kicked off my imagination as well

From what I remember any times they did human to human transformations the book shifted to 3rd person perspective and glossed over it, as it helped avoid talking about the ethical and invasive issues. There was really nothing to the scene, but it kicked off my imagination.

wow didnt realize Totally Spies has so many transformations. i've seen the clips where the blonde girl trades "personalities" with some butler which was almost like a body swap. then another where the same girl does switch bodies with an older woman

I remember watching Freaky Friday with Lindsey Lohan when I was around 10 and really enjoying the movie but not due to the plot due to the body swap. Around that time Totally Spies was on with basically every episode having some tf. When I was about 13 I remember being on google and I found tehswitcher (I actually remember that I was googling age swaps and found tehswitchers first age swap they posted) and thats how I found captions and other blogs.

oh nice yeah i was older at the point but the stardust transformation was pretty cool!

definitely agree captions are a happy medium which is why i got into them. i wrote stories on fiction mania but i didn't have the time to sit and write long stories. plus this stuff always works best under a visual medium. people want to see the people involved and so caps just made sense

yeah it's definitely a staple in animation but totally agree and wish they didn't switch voices. As I got older and into anime that was like a flood gate. they have so much body swap content and they usually keep their voices.

oh man i would've loved to see that Animorphs scene as a kid. i did remember reading the first few books and always hoped they would change into each other

I LOVE Identity Matrix. Read it a few times over the years :)

Reading Freaky Friday along with a few cartoons. One I specifically remember was Justice League when Lex Luthor became Lois Lane in a prison leaving her there as Lex. Jack L Chalker wrote some amazing books with his best being the Identity Matrix.

The male to female transformation scene from Stardust was definitely the catalyst for my TG kink; my favourite TG media is definitely films/television and artwork.

Same as Random Anonymous, except I was younger 5 or 6 I think - childhood cartoons had a lot of these kind of episodes. Then I got into shows like Supernatural during my early teens, which had a lot more possession going on. It was also around this time I found online sites where people wrote stories on these things, and after that came captions. For favorites though, I think captions/artwork. With stories I love the creativity of them, whereas videos/shows/movies are somewhat more fulfilling actually seeing characters acting it out. I think captions are a happy medium.

Me at my early teens during mid 2000s cartoons, with Totally Spies being the worst offender. Most cartoons had a mandatory body swap or a TG arc. I hated the voices swapping too.

Animorphs. I liked animal transformations, then there's a book where one of the characters touches his female cousin to take her DNA and become her briefly, and then I was into human and animal transformations. Then i started reading this old book series called "Help i'm trapped" by Todd Strasser where a boy kept switching bodies with people using a device. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help!_I%27m_Trapped...
