Added 2025-05-15 11:13:43 +0000 UTCHello from Cannes! At the festival again this year, just got back to my hotel from Mission: Impossible to finally release the episode.
Finally someone is talking about the movies that really matter: mid-budget Hollywood thrillers about people reading lots and lots of documents. This one was a blast to make (and especially to research) but honestly a struggle to come up with a title and thumbnail since the big idea of the video is "how do you take something that's boring in real life and make it exciting onscreen?"
Anyway I hope people love these movies as much as I do! Enjoy the video!

I feel like coffee is a component of any good document movie. Always brought by the partner, usually "it's bad but it's hot" or some such line. Black, in a white styrofoam cup. Also, the "Ladders" episode of Community (you know, that show you played a dean in) perfectly parodied the mundane made cinematic in the "email Diane" montage.
