Here we are! New ep! And it's...actually somewhat topical for once?
I went back and forth on whether to make this for a while. I started writing it months ago when those A.I. Wes Anderson videos first started popping up. I wasn't sure I had enough to say to fill a whole video so I just kept writing to see if I would eventually just hit a wall. Anyway, as you can tell, eventually it turned out there was absolutely enough material to fill a whole video, and here we are.
The next two or three videos will fit together with this in a loose series covering different aspects of the current state of...media? cinema? stuff like that? maybe we're getting overly ambitious here but look, it's a weird time and there's a lot to say.
I'm in LA for the week so you can blame my Airbnb's slow internet for this being delayed a couple days. I've gotta run to lunch now but the Patrick Replies for the Taylor Swift episode is coming soon. And next week we'll do a Patreon stream to talk about this episode, the Mission: Impossible premieres, all that stuff.

The ‘Patrick Willems rides a motorcycle off a cliff’ image is hilarious. Also, I know it’s been said before but I’ve gotta say it again: the opening sequence absolutely fucking RULES, and I think someone should comment this sentiment every single video.
