Weekly update - 31st May. The biggest of big updates.

So it's the end of May! If you're reading this, you still have 21 hours to get your funding in, so do it if you have not already! The rest of this post will be written as if the month is finished.

Crowdfunding

So we are eight months through the twelve months of the crowdfunding winddown. If you somehow are not sure of the system yet, the tldr is that the bottom 4 videos are deleted and the top video is added to my backlog. With 4 months left, there are 26 videos left on the system....so after everything ends there will be 6 videos left.

In order to give videos as much of a chance as possible, I'm going to be adding ONE last video from the last six. I've been trying to work out the best way to do it, but I've decided to go fuck it, I'll go fully in on the hype. When it comes down to the last six, the funding will proceed as normal...except at the end of each month, only one video gets deleted with the last video standing being the FINAL video I will make. And yes, you read that right. It will be the very last video I make.

Now, before everybody panics, with my backlog and other videos I want to add inbetween, this is still over a year away, probably 18 months. But truthfully, there's only so many videos you can make before everything feels the same. I've been yearning for different stuff and well, I have some treats lined up for you before I leave. It's also no secret I've been working on a game, and by the time I've finished with videos, the game will surely be out and I hope you will all love it.

Buuuut to cut back to the crowdfunding angle, this gives a lot of videos a MUCH bigger chance. With six months extra added, it obviously gives videos a lot more time to build up support, but more importantly, the less videos there are, the easier comebacks are. On top of that, remember if a video is eliminated, all funds can be transferred to a new video. So over the bonus six months, there will be huuuuuuge swings in videos.

So, to keep things simple. Currently 4 more videos will be added to the backlog, with 6 more making it to the final elimination stage. If you want to fund one of the outside videos, then making this top 10 should be your goal, as any video that makes that has a very good chance of going all the way and being the last video I ever make.

The one part of the post that isn't assuming the month is over is this small status update. Nothing has changed, but you have 19 hours to change it yourselves.

Video stuff and stuff

I got nothing.

Sorta..I am behind on St Louis video to be bluntly honest. So I'll probably be releasing a video of a certain FOTM waifu tomorrow. It's one of the last gifts that VanillaJOI will give before losing his freedoms to the military industrial complex. So thank him for all the work he's done to keep the video activity so high recently.
