UPDATE - New Patreon Tiers Are Here

Hi folks, I’m here with another update on the changes we’re making to the Patreon tiers.

Short version: the new tiers are now live. The previous tiers have been unpublished, which means that if you’re signed up at one of them, you still are, but no new patrons can join at them.

Also the new tiers are named after characters from the Ocean's movies. They're all cool guys.

The previous tiers, which pretty much all of you are currently at, will be deleted on June 7th. When that happens, you will still be a member of the Patreon paying the same amount, but you will not be at any tier and thus will not receive the perks of that tier.

This is most relevant to Discord members, who will need to reconnect to the Discord at the $3 tier.

(Also I encourage you all to join the Discord. It’s a lovely place where we hang out and talk about movies)

After hearing some feedback to the announcement of the new tiers last week, I’ve adjusted them slightly. Here are the major changes:

The $5 tier (replacing the $4 tier) WILL now get your name in the end credits.

The lowest tier is changing from $2 to $3

If you missed last week’s message, the situation here is simply that the videos have expanded dramatically in scale and budget since the Patreon tiers were last changed, and we now have a much larger team of contributors getting paid for every video. We want the channel to continue growing and expanding and making bigger, more ambitious videos, and funding from this Patreon is the best way to make that happen. Hopefully, the $1 increases aren’t a huge inconvenience, but if they are and you need to cancel your membership, no worries at all.

So one more time, the relevant info you need to know:

• The new tiers are live and the old ones are unpublished
• Old tiers will be deleted on June 7th so make sure you switch to a new tier by then to continue getting the perks
• If you want to keep paying exactly what you currently are, you can! You just won’t receive the perks of any tier
