Weekly post - 1st February. A lesson on productivity.

When making my videos and realising I had always taken a while longer to finish them, I assumed it was due to two main things.

1: Writing gets harder the more you make as it gets harder to try and write something unique.

2: My higher standards for editing has obviously resulted in a longer time to make something to those standards.

However, when working on the butt vid, despite it being easy to write I realised a 4 minute round took me over two hours to complete.  I was pretty surprised, it felt like things had been going well. How does the panning for 12 images and and about 40 lines of text take two hours?

Well, today I installed an app that blocks discord/social media/etc and the results have been...improved somewhat. If I factor our shower/lunch break, in about 4 hours I've done 12 and a half minutes of video. Up from 2 minutes per hour yesterday to a bit over 3 minutes per hour, a 50% improvement!

As you can see though, my videos still take a fuckload of time to make even with distractions blocked.  So don't expect my videos to start flying out, but I will be working with the blocker on for a minimum of 30 hours per week going forwards. Videos should be faster to make! 

Crowdfunding

Another month is complete and nothing changed since the last post. Drinking with cosplayers is now officially on the list. Nepnep, Fubuki and some CEI vids are DEAD. If you funded any of the dead vids I'll be messaging you later about transferring your funds.

Drinking with shuten - Like drinking with cosplayers that just got funded. Except it's Shuten.

Dark magician girl - Has been saved before...but will she be saved again or sent to the shadow realm?

BB one finger challenge - For full disclosure, I added this to the list. I kinda wanted to make a new BB vid but wasn't sold on the idea so wanted to see if anybody else wanted it. It seems like the answer is no.

Danganronpa - Junko's sex slave - This was one of the very first vids that ever got nominated back when I did a monthly patreon vote. It got nominated so much but never won...and now it's about to be eliminated again. Such despair.

Video progress

So as stated above, I've currently got through quite a bit of the video today. As soon as I finish this post I'm going right back to it. I have two and a half hours of my eight hours of blocker today left. I have three rounds left, so by the time it's over I'll hopefully be on the last round, letting me easily wrap it up tomorrow...hell, even two rounds tomorrow is an easy job. So I'm going to do the thing I normally avoid, I'm going to say this vid is coming out tomorrow (unless I die or something)

Oh right, one last thing. There will be two versions. One of the rounds has girls in school uniforms so I'm not risking uploading that to PH. The super complete version will be put into the vault.

Okay, now I've wrote all this I just realise I can't upload it to discord as I can't access discord right now. Amazing.
