Weekly update - 9th November

It's November which means I should be having fun travelling but instead I'm stuck here! Ahhh fun times. But you didn't come here to listen to me complain, so let's get into it.

Changes to the vault

You know the vault videos, ones where they're limited to $12 patrons? Well, I'm making a change to make them eventually visible for everyone. And eventually is the key word. Vault videos will be exclusive to the $12 tier for 1 month, then $5 tier for a month, then $2 tier for a month and lastly public a month after that. 

I ran a poll with people from the $12 tier before doing this and the vast majority are happy for me to make this change. If you were one of the two people who were strongly against it, message me and maybe we can sort out a refund or something. The last thing I want to do is to annoy those of you who are my biggest supporters.

Currently there's only one video in the vault, the Futaba video. That will be going live for the $5 tier today, and then lower tiers get it a month/two months later from today.

I actually should have the voiced imouto vid up soon...although I fear it's definitely not worth the wait. There will be more on that soon.

Small change to funding, starting next month

I am making a small change to the order of things for videos that are over 100% funding. Once videos go past 100%, they will be sorted by how many $ they are past the original goal. The way things are going I foresee videos hitting 200 and 300% soon...and that might be overly punishing the longer videos which need to hit a higher funding multiple times.

In case this is unclear, here's an example.

Video A is at 150/$100. Video B is at 280/$200.

Under the current system, video A is 150% funded and video B is 140%. Therefore video A is above video B. 

In the new system video A is +$50 and video B is +$80, so video B goes above.

Video making status

I am hard at work on the gauntlet and progress is going...I don't want to say it's going well..but it's...going? Yeah let's go with that. There's a non-zero amount of progress. Fun fact, I loaded up vegas a while ago and then thought "Hey, maybe I should actually make the patreon post" and then I decided to make this post. Now I'm at the end of the post, thinking desperately of ways to stretch out this post so I don't have to go back to that video. Please don't make me go back. I'll be a good boy. I'll get a real job...okay that last bit is a lie.

Mostly joking aside, the video will be my next one. So hey, let's hope I can actually finish it without going insane.
