First there were two of our major contenders, MUPPET CINEMA vs. 90S LEGAL DRAMAS. As much as I'm sure people were dying to see me wax poetic about The Firm, Grisham was no match for Kermit and the gang, and the Muppets won, 55% to 45%. Which means they'll be up against Godzilla in the semifinals...
And on the opposite side were MOVIES ABOUT MAKING MOVIES vs. GORE VERBINSKI. This started out extremely close, going back and forth multiple times, but in the end, Gore came out on top, 52% to 48%. Sorry, Sammy Fabelman. Maybe next time. So now Gore moves on to face Legasequels...
