TTToTTT Day 4 Results
Added 2023-01-23 16:04:41 +0000 UTCAnd so Round 1 of The Topic Tournament of Twenty Twenty Three comes to an end! And what an exciting round it was! Let's take a look at what happened on Day 4...
First came what seemed like maybe the toughest matchup of the entire tournament: MUPPET CINEMA vs. PATRICK'S DCEU & BATMAN BEYOND. Well, no matter how popular superhero movies are these days, here on the Patreon they were no match for Kermit & co., who ran the table and won this 64% to 36%. Not today, Batman!

Then we had another match-up that was at least a little bit closer. GORE VERBINSKI snatched victory away from THE MOST "NEW YORK" MOVIE, 56% to 44%. Look, folks, the Gorehive is strong, and they want to see A Cure for Wellness get the attention it deserves.

So moving on to round 2 are...
The Rise, Fall, and Resurrection of Muppet Cinema (submitted by Kameron Gillum)
Gore Verbinski (submitted by Mario Freitas and Lauren Damon)
Here's a look at the updated bracket:

And if you haven't already, vote in today's ROUND 2 match-ups:
Cinematic Video Games vs. Legasequels
Comments
From now on any comment I could make would be an exercise of bitterness... all these great topics and we have to chose only one of them in this brutal fight to death tournament... it's so unfair! It's a burden I did not ask for. Wasn't it great, when once in a while a video just popped up, with a topic you didn't knew you were interested in until this moment. I miss the old days...

2023-01-23 20:15:33 +0000 UTCI get it. Perhaps of some toxic discourse? I follow few film channels that cover this so I'm just guessing. But I like Patrick's take.

2023-01-23 20:01:38 +0000 UTCYeah I am kinda over analysis of comic book/super hero movies tbh.
2023-01-23 19:55:44 +0000 UTCShocked the DCEU option didn't win. Maybe voters were bored from the discourse or subject matter. Would be interested in your take anyway, but will tune in to the other option regardless.
