TTToTTT Day 2 Results
Added 2023-01-21 16:04:59 +0000 UTCDay 2 is finished! Two more contenders move on to the next round, and two are FINISHED FOREVER (unless I feel like making those videos at some point, anything is possible).
In our first match-up, THE THREE COLORS TRILOGY was no match for SURPRISE CAMEOS, which won 58% to 42%. I'll be honest, I was rooting for Kieślowski, but I knew it was a long shot.

And next, LEGASEQUELS cruised to an easy victory over HACKING IN MOVIES, 59% to 41%. Oh well, looks like I don't have to rewatch Swordfish any time soon.

Is this just the power of putting Tom Cruise in the images for these match-ups? Or is it because more people have seen the movies in the topics that won? Probably the latter, but don't underestimate the Cruise power.
So moving on to the next round:

I hereby pledge that this is the ONLY time I'll ask this... please do the loser. I have a nigh-unto biological need to hear you talk about how the themes of White have aged and what Red's view of an interconnected society mean in the social media era. Oh, and how Zbigniew Preisner's score OWNS BONES. Pretty please with the history of modern cinema on top? I'll up my reward level! I'll buy merch! I'll watch all of the Night of the Coconut special features and get the LP on Mondo! Ok, I may have done some of that anyway... did I say please?
