There are only a handful of hours left in 2022 but here's one final video in just under wire!
I realize this is a weird time to release a video (and it will probably be bad for views since there's zero traffic on YouTube on New Year's Eve) but hey, the sponsor deadline was the end of the month so it has to go out.
After Night of the Coconut, I thought the Patrick Explains series might be done, since the narrative had kind of reached its end...and then I had an idea for a new direction it could take, and you can probably tell from this video what that will be. No, my parents are not in this one, but you just saw them in the previous video so clearly they'll still be popping up.
Also I just ant to say I am very excited to discover I'm still capable of making a video that's under an hour long.
Anyway, happy New Year! Thank you for all the support during this crazy year. I'm really excited about what we have planned for 2023 so please stick around.

Great EXPLAINS for a criminally underrated action movie. I am a little bummed that my girl Lt. Dzaghig didn't get a shoutout. In an already self-referential movie, she was a fun way to comment on the absurdity of what's happening without actually breaking the excitement (a la Ryan Reynolds in 6 Underground).
