The Viewing Guide for the Next Episode

(SPOILERS FOR THE TITLES OF MOVIES THAT WILL BE DISCUSSED IN THE NEXT EPISODE)

Here it is! This took so long because I had to watch a ton of movies to narrow down the list. But it's finally here. These are the main movies that will be discussed in the next episode, "What Is The Most 80s Movie Ever?"

I know when this episode is released (and honestly probably as soon as this viewing guide is released) I'm going to get a ton of people saying "BUT WHAT ABOUT [RANDOM 80S MOVIE]???" and look, it is literally impossible for me to watch every single movie released during the 1980s unless you want this video to take several years of my life. BUT I will say I spent several weeks researching/reading about/watching trailers for every single movie that got a wide release in the U.S. between 1980 and 1989, as well as watching quite a few, so I promise I put in the work.

So if I left out a movie you think should be mentioned, I'm sorry. But whatever it is, I promise I considered it.

And if you want to watch and talk about these movies, our Discord server is the best place for that (see the Patreon welcome message for the link).

James Couche

he wrote NINE movies in the 80s alone!!!!

Wow, TWO movies directed by Stallone on this list?!?! Sly was on FIRE in the 80s.

Re-watched Thrashin a couple of months ago. Good film, excellent baddie. Really looking forward to this video

Ian Davis

*quickly checks Letterboxd to see how many titles she can access through current streaming platforms* Cool, watchlist set for the next week or so!

Bethany Laurel

The video will explain everything!

Fully don't mind plenty of 80s movies not being on there. I'd love to hear your reasoning behind some of the high profile absences, though!

Charles Arthur

This has got to be the most 80s an 80s list can be.
