A New Video About Last Season + ...NEXT SEASON???

Hello! I can't believe I forgot to post this  here for so long, and I apologize for that. We shot this video at the end of June, then took our time editing it (I've mostly been on a break for the past month), and by the time it was done I wasn't sure if anyone still cared about it so I just hit "publish" and moved on...and forget the required Patreon post.

Anyway, it's out there, and hopefully any lingering questions you had about how we put the season together or what the original plan was for Charl was answered there.

So other than this, what else has been happening this summer?

Well, to the great relief of most people in my life: I actually did the thing I've always been terrible at: I took time off from work to rest! I went on a vacation! To Sweden! It was lovely!

I've been reading books and catching up on TV and getting healthy amounts of sleep and just casually thinking about future projects without any kind of deadline breathing down my neck. 

And now we're starting to move forward on the next season. We're taking our time and being organized instead of frantically rushing like usual: we have the full list of video topics, and we've started researching and outlining several videos at the same time. It's not just me doing all the work anymore so we can actually start getting ahead.

In August, I'm going to be shooting a Nebula Class tentatively titled "How to Make a Movie." If you haven't seen, Classes is a huge new component that premiered on Nebula a few months ago that's basically like Masterclass but with Nebula creators. It's very cool. So I'm currently writing an hour-long class covering everything I've learned about how to get a movie made without losing your mind and actually getting it finished.

I was supposed to do a class many months ago called "How to Analyze Movies," but then it turned out that the cost of licensing the necessary movie footage was going to be way too much, so instead I'll be doing that as a regular video pretty soon (not part of the new season). I mean, I wrote an entire script, I'm not letting that go to waste.

Right now the plan is to premiere the new season in September, so we've got plenty of time to get ahead and make it great.

I'm really excited about this. We've got a ton of really cool topics lined up, and this is an opportunity to make some slight adjustments to the format. Basically, the plan is to make the videos better than they've ever been.

And yes...the Zack Snyder video is finally coming early in the season.

In the meantime, I'll probably do a livestream Q&A in about a week to chat about whatever you guys want. Stay tuned, and thanks as always for the support!
