An update on my channel, voiced videos and other things.

So firstly thanks for reading this! It means a lot to me having supporters that like my work so much they care enough to actually read updates on it. 

In this post I'm going to address a few topics.

Video uploads are less frequent.

So I'll just start this by saying I'm working on next video, it should be out by Wednesday at the latest. But you may have noticed that my video releases have been slowing down recently. There's two main factors here.  The first is that I have a part time job now. I was hoping the videos would be enough to support me, but as of right now it's not enough. After taking all sources of video income into account, I'm about 40% of the way there which is pretty nice, but still...I need more to live off.  These past few months I've been living off savings trying to grow this channel as much as possible, but that's starting to run out. So back to being a wageslave part time. 

This obviously means I have less time for videos BUT I promise I'll still release at least two a month. As my patreon grows, I can cut down my part time hours and put them back into making videos so I can get back to making 3-4 a month reliably.

The second factor is that I took on too many commissions, so I've been making videos that other people wanted rather than the stuff I genuinely want to make. My last two, and next seven videos are all going to be patreon or commission chosen which is frankly ridiculous. This makes it harder to motivate myself to finish videos.  To fix this I'm hugely increasing commission prices. The new prices are as follows.

Base charge - 40 usd

One minute of video - 6 usd

So a 10 minute video is 100 usd, a 15 minute is 130,  30 is 220.

Additionally, if it's for a character I don't really know or like there's an extra 10%-30% charge. 

For everyone who's already negotiated a price with me, I will still honour that at the agreed upon price.

These prices MAY be reduced in future once my queue is cleared up, but that is months away so I can't really say.

Voiced videos

Now this is going to be a roller coaster of good and bad news.

Good news! We reached the 200 dollar goal of "a voiced video every month"...bad news, well there's some issues with that.

I made that goal when I had an agreement with the original VA I used for the succubus video. She was an amazing VA and shockingly cheap. We had an understanding that I'd be using her for future videos but she pulled out of the d.va video the day it was meant to go up without doing the lines.

So then I've tried to find other VA's. To keep things short, I've had no luck lol. Most aren't close to the standards that I have for a VA and the few that are, cost a lot more than the original VA, meaning the original goal of 200 doesn't come close to  funding it effectively.  But still I do owe you  guys some voiced videos and they will be made even if I lose money on  them, but a monthly one is not going to happen. (There's also the other problem that sometimes I don't make a video that is suitable for being voiced)

For people that funded me because of that goal, I'm sorry.

But wait...there is SOME good news at the end. The original VA has agreed to work on another video. So hey, we'll see what happens with that. After the d.va incident I have concerns, but let's hope for the best.
