Little Women - Restructuring a Classic Story

If you noticed that I've had a copy of Little Women on the desk in all the videos recently and that I've been logging all the various film versions on Letterboxd, you may have suspected this was coming

I really love Greta Gerwig's version of Little Women, and after reading the book, I love it even more. So I wanted to talk about how she restructures the story into parallel timelines and the effect it has.

Also: the band killed it in this episode. I think it's their best work yet.

Watched Little Women a few weeks ago and loved it! Thanks for getting us out of our bro holes.

Just wondering: why are plot-points 44 and 45 just "Nothing"? (I have not read the book or seen the movie.)

Ok so this is probably Pat's best video ever, yeah? I just love Gerwig's Little Women so much that just listening to Pat talk about it made me tear up :')

When you showed the scenes from the animated series I immediately recognised it. It ran for years in German children's TV as "A happy family" without any reference to the book. The intro song is forever edged into my mind: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_gBBRwJWHA
