The Limitations of the Marvel Cinematic Universe PART 1

For the past year I've been trying to figure out why I'm not more in love with the MCU. This movie franchise is everything I've wanted since I was a kid. I was so excited about this from the very beginning. The midnight screening of Avengers at the AMC Empire 25 on 42nd St is one of the best experiences I've ever had in a movie theater.

But something happened in the 7 years between then and now. I still see every one of these movies opening weekend, I still enjoy them...but I almost never revisit them, and they don't stick with me.

So after months and months of thinking about this, I finally cracked it. I spent last week rewatching all 20 movies and writing furiously, and I realized this was too big for one video. It might be too big for two videos.

The goal here is to make it my definitive statement on the MCU. I'm putting it all into these videos, and then I'll never make a video about these movies ever again.
