2018-09-08 11:36:09 +0000 UTCI very much enjoyed the film, and having seen all the good critical notices, was surprised by some 40 something friends' reactions to it. They were absolutely FURIOUS about the treatment of Luke, whereas i thought his comeback from failure and depression to save them was wonderful. I also liked that the Jedi training camp failure wasn't just a straight seduction by the dark side plot.

2018-09-08 11:34:39 +0000 UTCI'm glad to know I'm not the only one. The sad part is that this may be the last time we every get a risky Star Wars movie. The damage it did to the brand is clearly terrifying to Disney.
