What's weird about where the podcast is now, covering Josh Hartnett's post-2007 movies, is that none of our listeners have seen any of them. Movie podcasts, as with video essays about movies, tend to attract a bigger audience when the movies being discussed are somewhat popular or well known. But we've passed all of those (other than the TV series Penny Dreadful, which we will be discussing in 2 weeks), so now unless you're a really devoted fan and watch the movies just to prep for new episodes, you're basically just tuning for us. And if you are, thank you!
(but anyway, as we say in the episode, when we relaunch the podcast after Josh, we'll probably focus on an actor who's career doesn't make quite so hard a turn into "movies no one has heard of").
This week we're discussing a time travel adventure romance movie that seems like it might be along the lines of Cloud Atlas or The Fountain...but it's much less interesting than either of those. It's a very fun episode, with a lot of talk about which Powerpuff Girl each of us corresponds to (you will not be surprised at our conclusions). This movie is also on Netflix if you want to check it out, but for your own sake, don't bother.
