A lot of film criticism seems to revolve around plot and narrative elements. Instead of focusing on classical or visual aesthetics of cinema. I wish more critics, especially on YouTube, focused on the visual story telling of movies instead of focusing on story driven "plot elements" of movies. Focus on colors, camera angles, cinematography, etc. Can you drop your top five movies that incorporate exciting color schemes?

I've heard a lot of people comment about how Martin S. uses soundtracks on his flicks. What is your personal take on using soundtrack playlists on films versus an original score? Is it cool when movies use both? Or is one preferable over another?

It kind of shocks me that "The Departed" got Martin S. the Oscar he deserves. I don't personally feel like it's his strongest movie. What is your favorite Martin S. movie?

I would love to see your take on "Infernal Affairs" versus "The Departed." I personally believe "Infernal Affairs" is better than "The Departed." "IA" has all the good narrative elements, the taut thriller quality of a good cop procedural drama but without a lot of racist slurs.

YES. I love "In the Mood for Love." I need to buy it via Criterion too. That movie is a life changer. I love the way he worked with both of his leads. Do you enjoy the work of Tony Leung?

Can I ask you a very, very random, not Josh/Arthur/Robin/superhero question? Wong Kar-Wai. I've been digging his stuff lately. Do you have any thoughts re: this director, his body of work, etc.? Do you like him? I hope you do.

In your opinion, who is the most socially conscious (dare I say "woke") superhero in comics, popular culture, etc. at the present time based on current social attitudes, media trends, etc.?

Do you have a hot take on the Guy Ritchie "King Arthur?" Thoughts re: direction, narrative, changes to the legend, pervasive weirdness, etc.?
