Remember back in the late 90s/early 2000s when Hollywood kept turning the works of Shakespeare into sexy modern movies for teens? Well, unsurprisingly our boy Josh ended up in one of those. It's the EDGY modern update of Othello, simply called O, which drops the original text and adds a lot more basketball. It doesn't work, and was probably a bad idea from the start, but it makes for a good conversation. Plus, this movie was supposed to open 2 years earlier but got delayed due to Columbine (since this movie involves teens shooting each other). So you get this weird whiplash with Josh's career where he's an adult leading man in Pearl Harbor and suddenly a teen again here.
Like we said at the very start of the podcast, Josh Hartnett has had a fascinating career.
