A few things to address first:
1. I realize there was no new video last week. I took a week to get ahead on scripts for future videos and just write all week. I documented the process and that was supposed to be last week's video, but looking at the footage it just wasn't interesting or compelling enough and I didn't want to waste your time with a disappointing video.
2. The podcast is in no way taking time away from the videos. We've had these episodes done for a long time.
3. Big updates are coming soon to the channel and the Patreon. Good updates.
ANYWAY, here's episode 5! This is our first episode with our fancy new microphones, so the audio quality is finally where we want it to be.
We've also got out first guest, and, of course, it's Mike. Who actually requested this movie. Which is crazy. Because A. no one has seen this movie and B. this movie is terrible. But also fascinating.
It's a quirky British comedy about the world of competitive hairdressing in which Josh is painfully miscast as Alan Rickman's son. It's got an all-star cast including Rickman, Bill Nighy, Natasha Richardson, Rachael Leigh Cook, Heidi Klum, and A TON of people from Game of Thrones. And it's still awful. But it makes for some great conversation.
Anyway, don't watch Blow Dry but DO listen to our episode about it.
