DC Film's Character Problem

I realize it might seem pretty soon after the Marvel color grading video to be talking about comic book movies again, but after how heated the comments section on that one got with all the DC vs Marvel debates breaking out, I wanted to balance things out a bit. And after this, I don't plan on doing another video essay about comic book movies for quite some time.
I was planning on releasing this in December, but pushed it back because I really wanted to take the time to make the argument as strong as possible. I actually wrote four totally different drafts of the script before settling on the final one. If you told me five years ago that I would be doing multiple rewrites of 7-page essays for fun, I would never believe you. Honestly, it's still weird to me.
Anyway, the video is pretty self-explanatory. There's not much fun behind-the-scenes info to give about video essays, since the process is just me sitting alone and working for a long time.
Btw, I did watch the extended "ultimate edition" of Batman v Superman while prepping for this. It makes the movie a bit less dumb, but still not good. In case you were wondering.
Next week, barring some freak accident that messes up our shooting schedule, we'll be dropping the first Alternate Universe Comic Book Movie video in over a year. I think it's gonna be pretty cool.
