We Made a Reaction Video (Sort of)

Anyway.
Obviously this isn't a regular reaction video. That's not the kind of thing we make.
Matt had the idea for this back in early September, and wrote a script that's pretty close to the final product. Then it took a lot of research and trial/error on my part to figure out how to make the rig work.
What's funny (to me) is that this is probably both the stupidest video we've ever made and the most technically challenging.
We had one of those fire extinguishers that's usually filled with water, but replaced the water with our vomit mixture (water, milk, and green food coloring). We pressurized the fire extinguisher and attached rubber tubing to the spray head, which went up Matt's shirt and was taped to the side of his face.
Then Jake sat below frame with his hand on the trigger, and timed the sprays up to Matt's performance with astounding accuracy. I assume it's the psychic siblint connection.
We got it on the first take, and didn't bother doing another.
For post production, I spent some time adjusting the vomit stream in After Effects to remove any seams and really sell the appearance of it coming from Matt's mouth.
Why COLLATERAL BEAUTY? We went through all the rcent awards bait trailers and all agreed this was the funniest.
