NEW VIDEO - Live-Tweeting
Added 2016-04-27 22:46:46 +0000 UTCAlright, we're back! This should've been done a couple weeks ago, but finding a control room to shoot in proved tougher than expected. In the end, all the potential ones fell through and I just faked it in an apartment. Considering that, I think it looks pretty decent.
As you can probably tell, I don't love it when people live-tweet movies they're watching for the first time. I know, how shocking that I have strong opinions about the right way to watch movies. So I felt that the best way to express my annoyance was through a video.
(We managed to get 3 of the 4 Torpey brothers in one video, which I think is noteworthy)
This is the latest of what I consider "the personal videos," i.e. the ones that take whatever's on my mind and express it via video. I group this in with "When Your Friends Get Engaged," "Student Loans," "Handshake Anxiety," etc. The next couple videos (currently in production) are more of these, although each one is extremely different (one that we're working on is a huge 10-minute epic).
If you're wondering about the Alternate Universe Comic Book Movies and other pop culture-related stuff, all I can say is that they're in development, and (fingers crossed) when they get made they'll have actual budgets. Hopefully we'll have some news on that front soon.
Anyway, stay tuned for some cool stuff. Paul, our prop guy, is finishing up a cryogenic freezing pod this weekend for the next video, and it's looking rad as hell.
