On Cornette’s pod they said they were offered a deal where they would get 1/3 of the money owed now, 1/3 later, and 1/3 in stock options. One of the stipulations was signing an NDA. I highly doubt Brendan is financially secure enough to turn down any deal. They may also have some ownership of the podcast, which would further complicate things.
