OKAY SO!! As y'all might have seen, I'm doing a series lately about the vocal synth Akita Neru, the Miku derivative featured with Miku and Teto in the classic vocaloid song Triple Baka. I plan to continue that series with 5 more comics -- but for that, I really needed to figure out how to draw those characters in the "Shen Comix" style.

It required a bit of tweaking and simplification, but here's what I landed on:

Neru is in normal clothes because, in the context of this story I've been doing with her, she is not a full time idol like Miku and Teto, and actually probably hasn't worn the idol outfit in a while. I can't wait to draw more of these 3 goofuses.

While she won't be in the story, I also took some time to imagine how Fem!Shen would look as an idol:

Unironically though, I do like drawing Girl Shen and so you can probably expect more of her here. I don't blame people for reacting any particular way (I choose what I post), but to be honest, I like posting that type of stuff here more than on social media because y'all are just... kinda CHILL about it?
