As a native Brooklynite, I need to stick my nose in and say the movie is set mostly in Brooklyn, and they've made Brooklyn, well, special! I used to be very familiar with the Lincoln Center area: my ex boyfriend is a concert pianist, and he was going to Juilliard when we were going out together. So I would go to meet him there after work almost every day. It's a truly beautiful space in the City, and of course, defined by music and dance.
