Also, saw Bad Times at the El Royale last night and I really enjoyed it. It’s definitely a slow burn, but man did the payoff work for me. The thing that impressed me the most about it was the performances from the cast, particularly Cynthia Erivo and Lewis Pullman, and the great use of tension Drew Goddard used throughout the movie. His direction was solid as well. This is definitely a film that will benefit greatly on a 2nd viewing. I like films that require you to look at things differently after you’ve seen them once, like Get Out or Dunkirk for example. I’m interested to hear your thoughts on it man! Have a great weekend!

Chris, don’t know if you’ve started watching it, but I highly recommend watching the show The Haunting of Hill House. It dropped on Netflix today and it’s great. Mike Flanagan directs all of the episodes and as usual does a great job. I thought I’d recommend that to you since it’s October and since I know you really like Flanagan as a director!
