Met this brave youngster today. His name is Sammy. His mother informed me that he was born with Kabuki Syndrome and high-functioning autism. He’s just endured his 21st surgery at age 16. She also told me his doctors said he’d never walk when he was an infant, but as you can see in this photo, Sammy proved them wrong. We talked for about half an hour. He loves costumed characters and Disney Land. What a great dude.<br><br>
