The ageism & the way we throw women away when they are no longer “young and sexy” The way Sue is over sexualized throughout the movie is on purpose because that is how we view young women in society. Its also a commentary on plastic surgery and the pressure people, especially women, feel to get injectables and surgery to stay “young” and “perfect”, sometimes to the point where they become unrecognizable in a bad way(Monstro Elisasue) its an extreme way to depict it but it definitely has something to say.
