TL;DR
Looking back we thought some shit was fucking boring, so we decided to fix stuff and change direction slightly. More cum and fluids, stronger angles, more exaggerated expressions, slightly faster (snappier) presentation both musically and cinematicly (but still just as “thick”), more stuff going on on screen (think pseudo manga style in presentation, redone backgrounds with stronger art direction, and more special effects due to a recent engine update. Sup Ya’ll. LewdLogic here and back from being sick. (Still did a shit ton of work regardless cause sometimes you just got to work through bullshit.)
So this month has been a rather eventful one. We came to a conclusion that some previous work needed a bit of retouching and decided to do some updates on some scenes before moving on to the second act of the game. Some scenes were just a bit too stale for my liking (even for a first time project) so I decided to add a bit of my original vision of doing a more… cinematic style to the way H scenes are executed and presented.
As an example to this. The ending to the intro for the demo build (if you selected to keep going after the twin’s solo scene) featuring MegaSweet’s work was kinda lame. To be fair, it was a bit of a last minute addition that we thought would sweeten the deal back when we started our first marketing push for our kickstarter.
We went through a handful of renditions trying to figure out a way to make this scene stronger...

Buuuuuuut we ultimately came to the decision that this scene is just kinda “meh” and was handled poorly. So me and Megasweet decided to go with something a bit more cinematic and eventful.
This is the first part to a series of images! Even after this scene there is another follow up scene where the two twins “go at it” on Selene thats a bit more reflective of what the ending of the intro entails. You even get a peek of something special about the twins that while most of you could have guessed it, it will still be relatively surprising when it happens for most of you.
This decision to do rework came to be when Me and Lasterk going back and doing retouching and adding more alternates to previous work for a stronger “Act 1” release and going into the second half of our debut title with this new vision on how to make more cinematic scenes. What do you mean when you say “cinematics”?
Well first we realized that scenes were a bit to “dry” so we increased the “moistness” of the scenes. Considering the fact that this is a flash forward into midway into the second half of the title, I definitely felt that there wasn't enough to really portray the contrast of Selene in her half corrupted state compared to her normal state.
You guys got a glimpse of this in the demo with the floating cut out of Selene getting facefucked by one of the twins.

Thanks to some extra funds and a bit of passion coming from the artist we are going to be a bit more “adventurous” with this idea of composition. You will see more cut outs and cross sections depicting visually of what's going on. While this was cool this of course did a few things to the pacing of the presentation.
Presentation also feels a bit faster. Since there is more going on on screen, this required a bit of tightening on the narration and some other adjustments. Scenes have more flair and I'm liking the way things are looking now.
This method is really just a prototype to how I’d like to direct things in the future. I’m trying to break some conventional Visual Novel molds and innovate in places that count.
