Did they knew this when fighting an enemy using nen? Or would they that confident they beat the rabbit..? Idk, seems risky, would've just fought normal hand-to-hand at that point.

2025-04-23 22:23:21 +0000 UTCRemember that the more restrictive that you make your nen ability or the conditions to use that ability, the more powerful it will be. Also yeah, the Ants are unlocking nen. Gon and Killua unlocked the ability by their first teacher Wing, forcibly injecting aura into them; which is one way of unlocking it but has a high chance of death or serious injury. When Gon attacked that rabbit ant he essentially did the same thing by mistake only much more deadly, but because the ants are so strong and hard to kill there's a good chance that they'd survive the process much better than a normal human would.
