We have finished selecting voice actors for the current, and future characters that'll appear in the story-mode of Haunting Havens!
Story mode will be split into parts that'll focus on each succubus, and each story mode will introduce a new character. Previews of a new character will come out before each story-mode is released, we plan for at least one to be a human, one a vampire, and a queen succubus!
The voice actors for Seraphine and the Shopkeeper will be in 0.1.3 in the threesome scene, decided by the majority vote below! The animation has been roughly completed, now we're awaiting the completed lines from our chosen VAs, and implementing facial motion capture to the characters to have the most realistic lip sync we can!
0.1.3 will be released ideally on Oct. 5th (this is an estimate, it could potentially last longer, but this is our goal). The voice actors we're commissioning are in high demand, so if it takes too long, we'll likely hire temp voice actors so we can get an update out to everyone sooner. In the background, we've been working on fleshing out and drawing up the first part of story mode, which will take place at a carnival, and have plenty of voice lines and new X scenes with characters!
Character customization will be rolling out after the 0.1.3 update, in either 0.1.4 or 0.1.5. After this, we plan for the next major update to be the release of the first part of story mode!
Edit From The Future: We've had a bug with our animation software, and only in the past day found out it was a bug with the software itself and not something on our end (we spent days trying to decipher where we might've gone wrong, but we contacted support and found out through them it's a known bug in the current version, which we had recently updated to). It has to do with the animation data, when exported and imported into Unity, it's incorrect. We're currently trying to figure a way around this, and contacting the support with our software to see if we can get the previous version we had before we updated (moving forward, we won't update our external softwares while a project is ongoing, to prevent this in the future). We intended to come out with an update every 3 weeks or so after the previous, however, this has set us back on this one. We do not want to be devs who are slow with updates, or can't keep promises about certain releases. This will be our final setback, after 0.1.3, we will ensure things run smoothly update-wise after it's released. Currently, we have a temporary solution, and it'll take a few days for us to be able to get those animations into Unity, we're looking at likely the 21st of Oct. when we'll be able to, and then have the character customization out before halloween with some themed outfits!
