What a nice mix of thriller/scary and sweet family moments π₯°
A young Abigail Breslin was fantastic to see, she is my favourite character in the movie!! Rory Culkin was also great. You all know how usually I'm not a fan of kids, but the kids were the best part of the movie!!
Mel Gibson is also a very solid dramatic actor. The dinner scene is really so sad and he nailed it.
Corn fields really are absolutely terrifying to walk through in movies. I will always think I'm in a horror movie if I'm near a corn field π€£
For this style of reaction, you need your own copy to watch the movie. You can set picture in picture by right clicking twice on the video and selecting "Picture in picture". The right clicking twice is a bit tricky, because you have to right click, then move your cursor so it's not on the menu, then right click again

Unbreakable trilogy will be seen, 100%!! I've never heard of Old though. So many movies to watch!!! I'll really need to plan more polls for next year it seems π I appreciate your recommendations π€©

They will be on patreon, for sure, I just don't know if/when they would be edited for YouTube since that takes time to get it done. Sadly how a video performs on YouTube really affects me, as I've learned from my Mission Impossible reactions. I loved the movies, yet they did horrible on YouTube and it was a really sucky time.

2024-12-22 00:27:47 +0000 UTCOk now post-movie, this was really great. One of the major Shyamalan films I hadnβt seen yet, and it didnβt disappoint. I only started exploring his filmography fairly recently but I love his use of the camera, his blocking and framing, what he chooses to show and not show. Loved the tone of this and how sincere and heartwarming it was even in tense moments. Some other Shyamalan films I would recommend besides the Unbreakable trilogy are The Village, Old, and Trap. Also a Mark Ruffalo poll sounds like a great idea, and I agree that you need to watch Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Collateral, and Zodiac. All brilliant films.

2024-12-20 23:14:18 +0000 UTCOk I am finally getting to this and, before the movie, in response to your opening remarks Iβm just gonna say PLEASE finish the Matrix franchise, itβs been a little while now since you watched the trilogy and Resurrections is a brilliant epilogue to the series, I think youβll really enjoy it. Also you said you were finishing Indiana Jones with Last Crusade and I would like to be the brave, lonely voice begging you to, at some point in the future, finish with Crystal Skull instead. Maybe not the best movie in the series but not the worst either, and a much better ending for the character than either Last Crusade or the terrible new one. A worthy entry that doesnβt deserve the hate, despite its flaws.
