I don't think he was only given the character development in order to kill him off at the end of the season. I much prefer how they did develop him throughout the season, and then killing him off, than if they wouldn't have developed him and still killed him off. And in all honesty, I love that he's the one that sacrificed himself because we've always seen him make the logical decisions, and this is right up his alley. I think if he shows up in Season 3, there are good chances that it seems like an asspull. It's not impossible that it can be done in a good way, but odds are low. Though we didn't see Crosshair much, his episodes were super important. I feel like if we had more Crosshair episodes, it would be similar to his episode with Cody which could be seen as unnecessary. Obviously I would have preferred Crosshair episodes over the fillers we had, but I do see the importance of less is more. I do think we'll see plenty of Crosshair in Season 3 though.

I assumed they are cloned from Jango Fett, since Omega still refers to them as her brothers/family. I'm hoping I enjoy Rebels, I'm already a bit bummed that I'll be leaving the Bad Batch behind ๐ญ

2024-04-03 20:27:46 +0000 UTCI think these two episodes were overall very good and a pretty good finale. Two main points I wanted to bring up about this season overall. First thing is Tech's "death" scene. I have conflicting feelings about that. I love the character development that he was given throughout this season, as I think most viewers did. However I don't like the idea of only emphasizing him to build an emotional investment to kill him off in the end. A main character should be given focus and development period, not just for that shock value. Also, it's mostly accurate what you said that if you don't see the body, then they are not really dead. So another thing about his death is that I think that emotional weight would lose its value if he is revived in season 3. So as much as I'd like him to live, I think it would be bad writing. Maybe that's just me. Thoughts? The second thing, and definitely the most significant thing for me, is the major lack of Crosshair this season. You would think that the way season 1 ended that we would follow the story from his perspective, and see his journey eventually turning his back on the empire. So I think it's crazy to think that in 16 episodes, we literally only see him in 2. However, those 2 episodes I would say are my favorites in the entire series so far. Sorry if the comment was too long. Would love to know what other people think.

2024-04-03 09:12:20 +0000 UTCOh snap a clone sister?? I did not see that coming. Season 3 is going to be interesting.... So are the female clones also cloned from Jango Fett and just made female? Or did they have a different clone donor altogether? They might have explained that at some point but I missed it. Also I wouldn't worry too much about liking Rebels, Vero. It takes a few episodes to get up and running, but remember so did TCW. The art style is a little weird at first, because it's different, but you do get used to it. It really is good show, (ended up being one of my favorite star wars things), so just give it a little bit of forgiveness at first to let it get up and trucking. ๐
