I will say, I much prefer Kevin Costner in this than in Robin Hood π
I'm still baffled that I didn't recognize Robert De Niro immediately, he looked so familiar π
Thinking, back I'm sure I've seen the kid and the stairs scene spoofed before. Overall a very solid movie and enjoyable to boot.
Great cast, great director, great composer! I just get excited when I recognize director and composer names now π

The show was challenging for sure. We had a week of rehearsals, so I had time get into a routine. I'm going to study the next musical ahead of time so I'll know all the songs already. It'll give me a head start on the cues. I'm really glad you enjoyed the Untouchables. It was fun to discover some of the scenes, Like when Sean Connery picks up the dead guy to interrogate him π Another good Kevin Costner movie is "Bull Durham". (1988)

I'm happy that there wasn't any heavy lifting, I know how shitty that can get since people are flaky π More work booked, that's good! Hopefully you enjoy the musical so the two week run doesn't feel too long. Again, thanks for picking this movie, I had no idea what to expect and was pleasantly surprised!! I'm more tempted to watch more Kevin Costner films now, since I didn't quite like him in Robin Hood lol

It was a lot of work because there were 28 mic'd performers, a live orchestra and 27 songs in the play. No heavy lifting for a change. It went very well. They've booked me for their next production, Little Shop of Horrors, coming up in May. I really enjoyed your reaction(s). It's been a while since I've seen you and it was really nice. I'll try to make it a point to make it to a marbles run sometime. You know i like the marbles π
