Not huge fan of people today...

These are two of the more refined iterations on this theme. Often when I worked retail and encountered rude or entitled condescending customers, I'd take out my frustration by drawing a person that somewhat resembles them being violently dismembered by a predatory Dinosaur (sometimes even a herbivore like Styracosaurus, you get the idea.)

Before that, drawing people being attacked was a why I coped with bullying. As my grasp of human anatomy grew, it became more and more satisfying.

Let me be clear, I am in no way endorsing violence against others. In confrontation I'm quite the pacifist, and aim for Picard level diplomacy.

It can feel pretty vulnerable to let people in on your fantasies, especially when they look like this. But the main reason I don't regularly post these on social media is it conflicts directly with one of my main goals as an illustrator; to un monsterfy predatory animals. Every dinosaur in Jurassic park, bears, sharks, lions, etc. are constantly shown as bloodthirsty monsters in the media and its incredibly destructive and harmful to their image and preservation. It leads to misunderstandings about animal behavior.
