The runes on Rictus weapon absorb magic. Ambessa said two things to Vi, that made me sit up. Firstly she said: “You're the one who captured Caitlyns heart." How did she know that? Their relationship wasn't common knowledge, only a few people close to them could have known about it. Namely her parents, maybe Jayce and maybe a small handfull of enforcers who heard her praise Vi when she tried to enlist her. And then secondly Ambessa said something even more interesting: “Your absence provided a vacuum I was able to fill.” First I thought she meant herself, but then I got the thought – what if she placed someone directly in that Vi-shaped vacuum? I am really worried about Jinx now. Her karma came back and slapped her hard in the face. She had a real family in the first time since forever. She had her dad (Vander), her big sister (Vi), a little sister (Isha) and even a grumpy aunt (Sevika). This will break her like nothing before, I just hope she doesn't descend back to a state where she just wants to die...💔🙈 At least Caitlyn should be off her back for now, since she saved her life. 🤔 Viktors followers aren't really healed. Yes, he may have cured their addictions and healed their bodies, but now their lives depend on his and he turned them into a hive mind, where he can seize control of anyone of them as he pleases (see Salo). They are not themselves anymore. Remember how Salo seemingly didn't need to breath or just look how calm and collected the ever jittery and afraid-of-everything Huck has become. He doesn't even flinch when Rictus tries to intimidate him. 🤔

2026-02-07 21:19:00 +0000 UTCArcane is the king of callbacks. The gear at the end and the gear Jayce and Victor passed between each other when they floated in the air after discovering hextech. And even though the dialogue is different, Vi’s “we’re going to get you out of there Vander” brought me back in an instant to them finding Vander locked to the chair in Silco’s headquarters in ep 3. Again trying to rescue Vander, and again unfortunately with disastrous results, even to the point of Vander AGAIN becoming a monster. Every rewatch there are more layers to peel back, it’s crazy.
