Fun fact about Envy replicating Lan Fan: in the manga, they replicate her in full ninja garb, mask and all (inner narration even shows they think Lan Fan's a man). That's because the only interaction between Envy and Lan Fan & Ling was a fight (that the anime sadly cut) while Roy & co were busy rumaging through the 3rd laboratory. The anime justified Envy knowing about Lan Fan by adding a shot of them lurking around while the others left the house.
