Tade is so precious. I don't know what it is about the "gentle giant" archetype, but I absolutely love those kinds of characters. Especially when the authors give them a kind of common wisdom that often eludes other characters, like with Izutsumi not realising how positive relationships and a happy family take effort and sacrifices to maintain. It's something so obvious, but it takes someone like Tade for whom it is a small blessing that she gets to live in warm house, eat three meals a day and have snacks in exchange for menial tasks, to truly drive the idea home.
