Let me make an analogy between Japanese and Americans. As mentioned above, Japanese people have a habit of saying things ambiguously, expecting the other person to guess what they mean. In contrast, Americans tend to say things clearly and unambiguously. This is not to say that one is worse than the other. It is about compatibility. From there, I was just further stating my suspicion of “the ‘individual’ named Laios”, not saying that “Laios‘ ’race' is a developmental disorder”.

"Japanese" so basically autistic

My abba taught me a few things too, like how to rip the skin off by using my own mouth

That is a bit inaccurate. It is the result of the worst combination of Schlow's race (modeled after the Japanese) being “a personality that speaks ambiguously on the assumption that the other person will guess what you mean,” and Laios being “not very perceptive.” However, there are whispers among Japanese fans that Laios is suspected of having a developmental disorder. (This is only a “suspicion.”)

Here it is, the shocking reveal: that Laois is on the autism spectrum.

The conversation between Laios and Shuro always makes me cry. Imagine being so excited to have a friend and they think you're a weird loser and want nothing to do with you. It's got to be heartbreaking. I know my heart breaks for Laios every time.
