Such a fantastic story packed with emotions, the voice acting is amazing, sub and dub. Violet Evergarden, Frieren, Eighty-Six and To Your Eternity has mastered the themes of grief.

If there's any tracking on comments there were a couple questions in the discussion I think can be answered without spoiling anything for Ben or Anna. It might be good to let Anna know that the OVA chronologically takes place between episodes 4 and 5, if they prefer to watch things in chronological rather than release order. No manga this is based off of, just a series of light novels published by the same studio that made the anime & movies. The novels only had a handful of illustration (made by the studio) that informed some of the art direction, but the shot framing and the rest are almost 100% original to the anime and movies. Netflix only bought the streaming rights, and wasn't involved in production. This is a Kyoto Animation passion project from when the first light novel manuscript was sent in to their writing competition and won Grand Prize. I'm looking forward to the videos for the rest of the franchise.
