What an excellent series. I watched it all in one day, including your reactions. I came up with some wild hypotheses, nearly all of which were completely wrong, and I had a ton of fun. I thouroughly enjoyed your reactions, too. Thank you both.

2024-08-23 20:26:45 +0000 UTCI think you're taking it wrong. Maomao explicitly says the line "I don't hate him". It's more so that she just feels no emotion for him as he's never been in her life. As for why she never wants to talk to him, I think it probably has to do with everything that happened to her as a baby. She might not hate him because she knows it's not his fault yet still feel an urge not be with him because her subconscious feels like he hurt her.

2024-08-17 06:44:44 +0000 UTCSo, basically, Lakan was the only one who did nothing wrong, and Old Lady, Fengxian, and even Maomao had been tricking him for 16 years. Also, Maomao hates him for absolutely no valid reason.

2024-08-17 06:21:35 +0000 UTCCinema. Pure cinema. Some fans are talkin about Grandma become the villian of the story for hide Lakan about Fengxian. But I think Fengxian take the descision and makes Grandma not to tell Lakan. Grandma only do what Fengxian wants. About the full series, it's one the best I've ever saw. Maomao is such a genius character. The dialog is awesome. Anna was having a lot of fun with this finale. Love it.
